Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or IT Consulting.
  • Direct ownership of technical pre-sales motions, ideally in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
  • Deep working knowledge of on-premise and cloud IT infrastructure (SSO/SAML, MFA, endpoint security, EDR, Backup & Recovery).
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver technical training and enablement programs.
  • Exceptional communication skills, effective with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience partnering with Account Executives to improve technical win rates.
  • Experience supporting partner and co-sell motions with PEO, payroll, or HR tech partners.
  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations and manage cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Account Executives to lead technical discovery, solution design, and product demonstrations.
  • Manage technical validation, proof of concept processes, and security/compliance questionnaires.
  • Serve as the primary technical resource during customer engagements regarding integrations, security, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Maintain competitive positioning and objection handling frameworks.
  • Support partner-driven deals and co-selling motions.
  • Develop and deliver internal technical training and sales enablement programs.
  • Refine demo environments and technical sales narratives.
  • Document recurring product gaps and technical objections for the Product and Engineering teams.
