Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in International sales.
  • Relevant military experience working with multiple international partners in Special Operations (substitute for sales experience).
  • Self-motivated and able to execute individually realized opportunities with minimal oversight.
  • Creative in business strategy aligned with company objectives and products.
  • Impeccable communication skills with a team-oriented attitude.
  • Problem solving ability for developing new customers in untapped markets.
  • Semi-technical background or exposure to modern UAS systems (nice to have).
  • Baseline knowledge of the defense acquisition process and cycle (nice to have).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute international business development strategies to expand market presence in target regions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including government contracts, defense procurement programs, and strategic partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with defense agencies, military organizations, contractors, and government officials.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales process, negotiations, and contract execution.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, threats, and opportunities in international defense markets.
  • Navigate complex regulatory environments, including EAR, and other export compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, legal, and operations, to develop customized solutions for clients.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance visibility and credibility in the global defense sector.
  • Monitor geopolitical and economic developments that may impact international business operations.
