Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in International sales.
- Relevant military experience working with multiple international partners in Special Operations (substitute for sales experience).
- Self-motivated and able to execute individually realized opportunities with minimal oversight.
- Creative in business strategy aligned with company objectives and products.
- Impeccable communication skills with a team-oriented attitude.
- Problem solving ability for developing new customers in untapped markets.
- Semi-technical background or exposure to modern UAS systems (nice to have).
- Baseline knowledge of the defense acquisition process and cycle (nice to have).
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute international business development strategies to expand market presence in target regions.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including government contracts, defense procurement programs, and strategic partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with defense agencies, military organizations, contractors, and government officials.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process, negotiations, and contract execution.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, threats, and opportunities in international defense markets.
- Navigate complex regulatory environments, including EAR, and other export compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, legal, and operations, to develop customized solutions for clients.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance visibility and credibility in the global defense sector.
- Monitor geopolitical and economic developments that may impact international business operations.
