Requirements
- Strong background in accounting, finance, or related fields
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience in month-end closing processes, reconciliations, and journal entry preparation
- Ability to analyze financial data, identify issues, and propose effective solutions
- Excellent communication skills in English (mandatory)
- Strong organizational skills and autonomy
- Knowledge of financial systems such as SAP or similar ERP tools is highly desirable
- Spanish proficiency is a plus
- Experience in multinational or shared services environments
Responsibilities
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of financial statements.
- Prepare and review journal entries, working closely with shared services teams to ensure proper accounting treatment.
- Perform detailed balance sheet and P&L reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and proposing corrective actions.
- Review revenue and expense recognition to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with internal policies.
- Support intercompany invoicing processes, tax reporting activities, and annual financial planning cycles.
- Collaborate with regional finance teams to maintain alignment across financial reporting standards and practices.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives, enhancing tools, reporting efficiency, and accounting workflows.
