Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Life Science, or Regulatory.
- Minimum 3 years of editing experience in medical communications, pharma, or healthcare.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong proficiency in American Medical Association (AMA) Style (11th edition).
- Familiarity with scientific search engines (PubMed, Google Scholar).
- Familiarity with MLR requirements and submission platforms like Veeva.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize deadline-sensitive projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead editorial work for assigned accounts including editing and fact checking.
- Copy edit projects for spelling, grammar, tone, creative brief fulfillment, and AMA style.
- Perform fact checking and clean reads of unbranded and data-related claims.
- Review and edit client and MLR changes in context.
- Prepare MLR submissions via tagging and linking in client systems.
- Represent the department at internal kickoff and status meetings.
- Identify and suggest efficiencies to internal routing processes.
