Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of seven (7) years of pharmaceutical/biotech marketing or medical affairs experience or medical communications agency experience
- Experience successfully managing and growing $2.5M+ pharma/healthcare accounts
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); Internet
- PowerPoint design proficiency
- Thorough understanding of pharmaceutical/biotech marketing and medical communications
- Demonstrated proficiency in acting as a trusted strategic/business advisor
- Proficiency in leading and managing employees and growing client relationships
- Ability to thrive and succeed in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong time management skills
Responsibilities
- Generate revenue through leading and managing a team of internal resources.
- Act as the day-to-day strategic advisor to clients.
- Ensure work is strategically on-target and delivered within budget and timelines.
- Provide oversight, coaching, and mentorship to Strategic Account Directors (SADs), Strategic Account Managers (SAMs), and Strategic Account Associates (SAAs).
- Support department and company initiatives.
- Lead and participate in new business opportunities and pitches.
- Support strategic planning within and outside of their books of business.
