Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of pharmaceutical/biotech marketing or medical affairs experience or medical communications agency experience
  • Experience successfully managing and growing $2.5M+ pharma/healthcare accounts
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); Internet
  • PowerPoint design proficiency
  • Thorough understanding of pharmaceutical/biotech marketing and medical communications
  • Demonstrated proficiency in acting as a trusted strategic/business advisor
  • Proficiency in leading and managing employees and growing client relationships
  • Ability to thrive and succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong time management skills

Responsibilities

  • Generate revenue through leading and managing a team of internal resources.
  • Act as the day-to-day strategic advisor to clients.
  • Ensure work is strategically on-target and delivered within budget and timelines.
  • Provide oversight, coaching, and mentorship to Strategic Account Directors (SADs), Strategic Account Managers (SAMs), and Strategic Account Associates (SAAs).
  • Support department and company initiatives.
  • Lead and participate in new business opportunities and pitches.
  • Support strategic planning within and outside of their books of business.
