Requirements
- 3+ years of carrier sales or capacity procurement experience, preferably in cross-border Mexico freight
- Fluent in Spanish and English (verbal and written)
- Demonstrated success in negotiating rates and managing carrier performance
- Established relationships with Mexico-based and border-region carriers
- Strong understanding of cross-border processes, documentation, and compliance requirements
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and TMS systems
Responsibilities
- Source, onboard, and manage carrier relationships with a focus on Mexico and cross-border operations
- Negotiate competitive rates with carriers while ensuring high service quality and compliance
- Monitor shipment execution, resolve service issues, and ensure on-time delivery performance
- Collaborate with internal teams and agents to match capacity with customer needs
- Maintain an active network of carriers specializing in Mexico, border drayage, and transload operations
- Understand and communicate customs, documentation, and regulatory requirements related to cross-border freight
- Provide exceptional communication in both English and Spanish to strengthen relationships with carriers and partners
- Identify market trends, capacity fluctuations, and pricing opportunities within the Mexico/U.S. corridor
