Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in email marketing, lifecycle marketing, or newsletter operations
- At least 1 year of experience managing or mentoring team members
- Proven ability to develop and execute email growth strategies
- Hands-on experience with email marketing automation tools such as HubSpot, Mailchimp, Marketo, or Sailthru
- Strong expertise in segmentation, automation workflows, behavioral targeting, and A/B testing
- Experience analyzing campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics or Looker
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Experience working cross-functionally with editorial, marketing, and advertising operations
- Familiarity with CRM systems, CDPs, or audience data tools
- Experience supporting newsletter monetization initiatives
Responsibilities
- Own and optimize the full email lifecycle strategy, including acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention, reactivation, and win-back campaigns
- Define and monitor key performance indicators across the email funnel
- Design and execute segmentation strategies, behavioral targeting, automation workflows, and A/B testing frameworks
- Partner with editorial and marketing teams to create integrated, cross-channel campaigns
- Collaborate with AdOps teams to support newsletter sponsorships and advertising integrations
- Analyze campaign performance using analytics tools
- Present performance reports and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
- Mentor and support junior team members
