Requirements
- Solid working knowledge of WordPress core functionality and common plugins.
- Comfortable troubleshooting WordPress sites.
- Background in client services, account management, or technical support.
- Experience managing relationships and solving problems directly with customers.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders, priorities, and dependencies.
- Comfort with technical troubleshooting, investigating root causes, and finding creative solutions.
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Manage publisher migrations from alignment through launch, owning timelines and coordinating stakeholders.
- Proactively navigate obstacles and make strategic decisions about scope and priorities.
- Build relationships by understanding publisher business goals and operational needs.
- Troubleshoot technical and editor-facing issues as they arise.
- Help publishers leverage and optimize Newspack features.
- Maintain deep knowledge of Newspack and WordPress to provide guidance to publishers.
- Identify product improvement opportunities, surface bugs, and collaborate with engineering.
- Develop and refine project management and communication systems.
- Document solutions and identify patterns to inform process improvements.
