Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in employee benefits account management.
- Significant experience supporting large-group or enterprise clients (3,000+ lives).
- Deep understanding of employee benefits, including fully insured and alternative funding arrangements.
- Proven ability to operate effectively within a highly matrixed team structure.
- Strong executive presence with ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
- Proven experience supporting self-funded and complex benefit structures.
- Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating cross-functional service teams.
- Active Life & Health License.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior operational lead on complex client accounts, partnering closely with internal teams to execute strategy.
- Own and elevate the client experience, ensuring alignment between strategic intent and service delivery.
- Act as a primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders with high executive presence.
- Lead execution of complex renewal cycles, coordinating across carriers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Manage day-to-day service delivery across a multi-disciplinary team, including Account Managers and consultants.
- Drive accountability by managing timelines, deliverables, and quality standards.
- Navigate and support complex funding arrangements like self-funded, level-funded, and captives.
- Identify, anticipate, and proactively resolve service risks and gaps.
- Lead resolution of complex service issues and escalations.
- Mentor and elevate junior team members.
