Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Bidding
  • Experience with Mass Transit rail industry in the US and Canada
  • Experience in business operations and/or commercial activities
  • Proven negotiation and contracting skills in a B2B context
  • Technical aptitude and ability to learn technical matters
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Data mining and analysis skills
  • Public speaking and strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary interface to assigned customer accounts
  • Achieve assigned sales targets in alignment with commercial strategy
  • Lead prioritization of opportunities and Go/No Go decision processes
  • Lead the set-up of partnerships/consortiums/JV to pursue sales opportunities
  • Lead proposal presentations for senior leadership bid approval
  • Manage preparation and submission of RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs
  • Manage contract negotiations
  • Lead definition of short/medium term strategic plans and annual sales budgets
