Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Bidding
- Experience with Mass Transit rail industry in the US and Canada
- Experience in business operations and/or commercial activities
- Proven negotiation and contracting skills in a B2B context
- Technical aptitude and ability to learn technical matters
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Data mining and analysis skills
- Public speaking and strong communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Bachelor’s Degree
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary interface to assigned customer accounts
- Achieve assigned sales targets in alignment with commercial strategy
- Lead prioritization of opportunities and Go/No Go decision processes
- Lead the set-up of partnerships/consortiums/JV to pursue sales opportunities
- Lead proposal presentations for senior leadership bid approval
- Manage preparation and submission of RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs
- Manage contract negotiations
- Lead definition of short/medium term strategic plans and annual sales budgets
