Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5–8 years of procurement experience
- At least 2 years managing direct spend categories in a technology or infrastructure environment
- Track record of successfully negotiating and managing multi-million-dollar vendor contracts
- Experience with sourcing GPU/AI accelerator hardware, servers, or data center infrastructure
- Proficiency with procurement systems (Coupa, SAP Ariba, or similar) and ERP platforms
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- High proficiency in data analysis and spend analytics tools
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for key categories including compute hardware (GPUs, CPUs), networking, cooling, and data center services
- Negotiate and execute vendor agreements, MSAs, SOWs, and hardware purchase contracts
- Build and manage a portfolio of preferred suppliers, maintaining robust qualification and performance management frameworks
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Engineering teams to ensure contracts align with technical requirements, financial targets, and risk policies
- Drive cost reduction initiatives and track savings against procurement budgets
- Own the purchase order lifecycle from requisition through payment
- Develop procurement policies, playbooks, and standard operating procedures
- Manage and mentor Procurement Analysts
- Monitor market trends in semiconductor supply chains, hardware pricing, and logistics
