Requirements
- 3+ years of bookkeeping, AP, or accounting experience
- Experience managing multiple client accounts or workflows simultaneously
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online
- Hands-on experience with Xero
- Hands-on experience with Bill.com
- Hands-on experience with Ramp
- Strong process orientation and attention to detail
- Ability to troubleshoot systems and think critically about workflows
- Comfort learning and implementing new software platforms
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
Responsibilities
- Build and document scalable, repeatable AP workflows for client accounts
- Create standardized procedures to ensure consistency across engagements
- Configure and test AP systems, automations, and integrations
- Identify workflow gaps and recommend process improvements
- Lead AP setup for new client engagements
- Map charts of accounts and validate data flow accuracy
- Run initial AP cycles to test workflows before handoff
- Create training documentation and support client transitions
- Resolve sync issues and workflow errors
- Establish best practices for the AP department
