Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday, including configuration and support of Talent & Performance and Core HCM modules.
  • Proven experience gathering business requirements and translating them into scalable Workday solutions.
  • Deep understanding of Workday architecture including business objects, organizations, tenant setup, and integrations.
  • 7+ years of experience with HR systems and tools, including project management and system lifecycle methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).
  • Experience leading HRIS projects from concept to deployment, including vendor coordination and budget oversight.
  • Familiarity with global HR processes and data governance standards.
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks including GDPR and SOX.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities across global teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives and influence outcomes without direct authority.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday and additional applications in the Talent & Performance and Core HCM functional areas.
  • Lead and manage complex HRIS initiatives, including enhancements, new functionality rollouts, and cross-functional integrations.
  • Own the end-to-end configuration and optimization of Workday business processes, security roles, calculated fields, custom reports, EIBs, and scheduled releases.
  • Partner with HR teams and cross-functional stakeholders to define system roadmaps, prioritize enhancements, and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Analyze and document business requirements, process flows, and system impacts.
  • Ensure data integrity through robust audit processes, validation routines, and proactive monitoring of system performance.
  • Lead testing efforts including scenario creation, test execution, defect tracking, and stakeholder sign-off.
  • Mentor junior analysts and HR teams on Workday capabilities, best practices, and change management.
