Requirements
- 5+ years of professional data engineering experience
- At least 3 years working in modern cloud data environments
- 2+ years hands-on experience with Snowflake including performance tuning
- 2+ years working with dbt in production environments
- Demonstrated experience with healthcare data such as ICD-10, NPI, and NDC codes
- Production experience with orchestration tools like Airflow or Dagster
- Strong SQL skills for complex query performance debugging
- Python proficiency for data processing and automation
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Bronze/Silver layer pipelines
- Lead end-to-end data ingestion, transformation, and enrichment
- Develop automated ingestion pipelines using Snowpipe, Matillion, or custom solutions
- Implement dbt models with medallion architecture patterns
- Establish reusable engineering patterns and testing frameworks
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and observability
- Collaborate with architects and stakeholders on technical specifications and design reviews
