Requirements
- 5+ years professional data engineering experience.
- 3+ years working in modern cloud data environments.
- 2+ years hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- 2+ years working with dbt in production environments.
- Demonstrated experience with healthcare data (ICD-10, NPI, NDC codes).
- Production experience with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Dagster).
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, Information Systems, or Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Bronze/Silver layer pipelines ensuring accuracy and lineage.
- Lead end-to-end data ingestion, transformation, and enrichment including deduplication and standardization.
- Develop automated ingestion pipelines using Snowpipe, Matillion, or custom solutions.
- Implement dbt models using medallion architecture and incremental processing.
- Establish reusable engineering templates, macros, and testing frameworks.
- Ensure data quality via dbt tests, freshness checks, and anomaly detection.
- Collaborate with architects to translate requirements into technical specifications.
