Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, AI Engineering, or ML Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Functions
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Event Hubs
- Experience building robust and scalable ETL/ELT pipelines
- Excellent Python programming skills
- Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs into production systems
- Experience designing and implementing RAG-based solutions
- Understanding of prompt engineering for production applications
- Experience working with cloud environments (preferably Azure)
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices and clean architecture
- Experience working in Agile teams
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure services
- Build solutions that move data from source systems (e.g. Azure Event Hubs) into processing environments such as Azure Databricks
- Expose processed data according to architectural and platform standards
- Integrate external ML and AI workloads into the existing enterprise architecture
- Develop AI-powered solutions leveraging LLM APIs and RAG architectures
- Create and optimize prompts used directly within production applications
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and observability across AI and data pipelines
- Design intelligent workflows and orchestration logic for AI-based systems
- Collaborate with architects, product teams, DevOps, and platform engineers
- Contribute to software engineering best practices including testing, CI/CD, documentation, and code reviews
