Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, AI/ML, or related.
- 7+ years of backend and/or ML engineering experience.
- Deep expertise in Python and production-grade backend services.
- Proficiency in Python web frameworks such as Django or FastAPI.
- Hands-on experience with document processing pipelines.
- Production experience building and operating RAG systems.
- Experience evaluating and improving LLM-based extraction quality.
- Experience with LLM application patterns like tool-calling agents.
- Proficiency with Relational Databases (Postgres or MySQL).
- Experience with Cloud (AWS) and Container technologies (Docker, k8s).
- Deep understanding of service-oriented architecture.
Responsibilities
- Champion AI-native development practices and tools to increase velocity.
- Take ownership of team architecture and drive long-term technical vision.
- Participate in coding, testing, and delivering roadmap projects.
- Lead design and implementation of document processing and RAG pipelines.
- Own end-to-end design and reliability of document extraction and RAG pipelines.
- Manage team roadmap and provide technical leadership and mentorship.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, UX, and QA partners.
- Own monitoring, diagnosing, and resolving production issues.
