Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Bakery Science, Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
- 7–10+ years of experience in long-cycle sales or business development.
- Mandatory experience in the industrial bakery equipment industry.
- Strong exposure to CAPEX or capital equipment sales.
- Strong understanding of North American market dynamics.
- Proven ability to manage complex technical and commercial negotiations.
- Excellent leadership and relationship-building skills.
- Experience executing commercial strategies under pressure.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and structured forecasting.
- Willingness to travel 50–75%.
Responsibilities
- Lead sales strategy and execution for industrial bakery equipment in North America.
- Act as primary customer-facing leader for tailored CAPEX solutions.
- Manage and grow strategic customer relationships through site visits and consultative selling.
- Oversee full sales cycles from opportunity identification to post-sale support.
- Develop regional sales plans, forecasts, and budgets.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, service, and logistics.
- Drive market development and identify new business opportunities.
- Manage CRM data and ensure pipeline visibility.
- Lead complex commercial negotiations and contract management.
- Manage and develop regional sales teams and external agents.
