Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience managing teams in a fast-paced, metrics-driven operational setting.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare compliance standards, including HIPAA regulations and data privacy requirements.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with experience working directly with clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience in financial awareness, including basic understanding of operational budgets, margins, and performance metrics.
  • Ability to travel as needed and adapt to dynamic operational demands.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee medical record retrieval operations, ensuring consistent execution of workflows with a focus on timeliness, accuracy, compliance, and service quality.
  • Manage and develop teams of release of information specialists, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and fostering employee engagement and accountability.
  • Drive operational excellence by setting performance standards, monitoring KPIs, and implementing process improvements across regional and enterprise-level operations.
  • Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure service expectations are met or exceeded, including participation in meetings, reporting, and issue resolution.
  • Oversee onboarding and implementation of new client programs, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with operational capabilities.
  • Support financial performance through monitoring of revenue, expenses, margins, and contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and internal policies while maintaining strict confidentiality and regulatory adherence across all operations.
