Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field (e.g. engineering)
  • Experience working as a Project Manager for Central Laboratories either for a CRO, Pharmaceutical or Biotech company
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills and experience with MS Office/MS 365 applications
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence
  • Strong understanding of project management
  • Strong understanding of data analysis
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional research and reporting skills
  • Exceptional use of judgement and discretion
  • Able to read, write, and fluently speak and comprehend the English language
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally, including overnight stays (~10-25%)

Responsibilities

  • Leads projects from conception through close-out, ensuring detailed planning and execution, risk management, communication and stakeholder management, scope and cost control
  • Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations and/or data requires a review of a variety of factors
  • Navigates ambiguity and has a system and process solution mindset to support growth and continuous improvement
  • Develops professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues
  • Builds productive internal/external working relationships
  • Exercises judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
  • Create and manage project timelines, budgets and revenue goals, forecasting, resource plans
  • Maintain detailed daily coordination and supervision of scheduled activities, delegating responsibilities
  • Effectively lead implementation of new and ongoing studies
  • Coordinate the development and implementation of new projects
