Requirements

  • Previous experience working as an Automation Specialist, Systems Specialist, Automation Engineer, or similar role within a marketing agency, paid media agency, or growth-focused company.
  • Strong experience with Make.com and Claude / Claude Code (or similar AI development environments).
  • Ability to build and ship real-world automations with minimal supervision.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, logic flows, and data integrations.
  • Experience working with marketing workflows and paid media environments.
  • Familiarity with Google Ads, Meta Ads, attribution, campaign reporting, and marketing operations.
  • Advanced Google Sheets skills.
  • Experience with Looker Studio and marketing reporting systems.
  • Basic Python or JavaScript knowledge.
  • Experience integrating Shopify data and marketing systems.
  • Ability to simplify messy workflows into scalable systems.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills with the ability to teach workflows internally.
  • Highly proactive mindset with a strong focus on operational efficiency and practical business outcomes.
  • Experience with GitHub, Shopify plugins/integrations, or Cursor is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build and deploy automations that improve marketing workflows, campaign operations, reporting, and internal processes.
  • Create scalable systems using Make.com, Claude/Claude Code, APIs, webhooks, and AI-powered workflows.
  • Streamline repetitive tasks and reduce manual work across paid media and reporting functions.
  • Develop lightweight internal tools, dashboards, and workflow automations for the growth team.
  • Integrate marketing and eCommerce platforms including Shopify, Google Ads, Meta Ads, reporting systems, and internal databases.
  • Improve campaign setup, reporting speed, and operational efficiency across the business.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to identify workflow bottlenecks and automation opportunities.
  • Document systems, workflows, and SOPs to ensure smooth internal adoption.
  • Train internal team members on newly implemented tools and AI workflows.
  • Proactively recommend new automation tools, systems, and process improvements.
