Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles managing teams.
- Strong experience in patient marketing within biotech, pharma, or healthcare industries.
- Proven success in developing and executing multi-channel, insight-driven patient engagement campaigns.
- Experience working in highly regulated environments with strong medical, legal, and regulatory collaboration.
- Deep understanding of patient journey design, CRM systems, and digital marketing ecosystems.
- Strong strategic thinking, storytelling, and ability to translate complex clinical information into patient-friendly messaging.
- Experience in ophthalmology, rare diseases, or chronic disease areas is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the end-to-end U.S. patient marketing strategy for ophthalmology, with a focus on Geographic Atrophy.
- Translate patient insights, behavioral drivers, and market dynamics into actionable marketing strategies and segmentation frameworks.
- Design and oversee integrated omni-channel campaigns across digital, TV, print, social, CRM, and other engagement platforms.
- Ensure accessibility and inclusivity in all patient-facing content, particularly for individuals with vision impairment.
- Develop patient education tools, onboarding resources, and adherence programs to support the full patient journey.
- Partner with medical, access, regulatory, and legal teams to ensure compliant and aligned marketing execution.
- Collaborate with market research and analytics teams to generate insights, measure performance, and optimize campaign effectiveness.
- Contribute to brand planning, lifecycle strategies, and product launch readiness with a patient-centric lens.
- Manage external agencies, budget allocation, and campaign performance tracking.
