Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the payments industry, with a strong focus on credit card products.
- Solid understanding of card scheme operations (Visa, Mastercard, etc.), issuer/acquirer models, and payment processing flows.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, or BI platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable insights.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations in the payments space (e.g., PSD2, PCI DSS).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers to define and refine product requirements for credit card and payment solutions.
- Analyze business processes, customer journeys, and transaction data to identify opportunities for innovation and optimization.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Support the end-to-end lifecycle of credit card products, including onboarding, authorization, clearing, settlement, and dispute management.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform product strategy and positioning.
- Work with cross-functional teams (engineering, compliance, operations, finance) to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
- Assist in UAT planning and execution, ensuring solutions meet business and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor KPIs and performance metrics post-launch to assess impact and identify areas for improvement.
