Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, preferably within mining, natural resources, or heavy industry
  • 5+ years of client facing experience interacting with Hiring Managers throughout the recruitment process
  • 5+ years of experience developing and executing sourcing methodologies to include market mapping, recruitment strategies, AI tools and Boolean searches
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting for technical and operational roles in remote or international locations
  • Strong understanding of mining disciplines and organizational structures
  • Experience working in a global or multi-site environment
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (e.g. Greenhouse) and sourcing tools (e.g. LinkedIn Recruiter)
  • High school diploma

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers across multiple regions to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for a wide range of roles including mining engineers (underground/open pit), geologists and technical services professionals, operations, maintenance, and processing personnel, project and construction teams, and corporate and support functions
  • Source candidates through a variety of channels including direct sourcing, industry networks, job boards, and job fairs
  • Build and maintain a global talent pipeline for critical and hard-to-fill roles
  • Facilitate recruitment intake meetings and set expectations for recruitment process
  • Conduct candidate screenings, interviews, and assessments to evaluate technical and cultural fit
  • Coordinate and support international hiring processes, including relocation, secondments and mobilization
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle
  • Track and report on recruitment metrics, market trends, and talent availability
  • Support employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice in the mining industry
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal hiring policies across jurisdictions
