Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a customer facing position.
  • 3+ years of experience in a luxury hospitality role.
  • 3+ years of experience working in wine.
  • Strong knowledge of major wine regions, grape varieties, and wine styles.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Experience delivering high-touch, personalized service to discerning clients.
  • Comfortable discussing wine recommendations, pairings, and cellar selections with customers.
  • WSET, CSW, Introductory Sommelier or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • Experience in natural wine.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure customers have a Concierge-level experience with white glove hospitality.
  • Curate wine selections based on taste, preconception, and nostalgia.
  • Ensure every customer feels heard by getting them a quick response to any questions.
  • Pick up the phone and talk to customers; listen to them and show care.
  • Work with the Custom Experience team on compiling insights and data-driven reports.
  • Drive forward new and creative ways to give members a one-of-a-kind, custom experience.
  • Suggest wines based on taste preferences and curate boxes of Artisan Wine based on inventory.
  • Create one-of-a-kind Memberships for customers based on individual taste preferences, and fulfill shipments.
  • Hand select each wine for individual customers, combining knowledge of personal taste and expert experience in wine.
  • Build relationships with Members and guide them through their wine journey, proactively solving problems.
