Requirements

  • National Account Experience: Proven track record managing large, multi-site or national accounts in mission-critical facilities
  • Knowledge of Data Center Standards: Familiarity with Uptime Institute Tier standards, ASHRAE guidelines, and NFPA requirements
  • Proven success in either the plan & spec or owner direct turnkey sales for BMS, EPMS or SCADA solutions.
  • 5+ years of experience in BMS, EPMS or SCADA solutions sales preferably in the Data Centers or other complex facility types.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, & controls drawings.
  • Understanding of building mechanical and electrical systems and the application of controls and monitoring solutions.
  • Must embrace use of CRM tool for pipeline and activity management.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent degree with industry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Account Planning, National Key Account Development: Develop multi-year account strategies for top-tier data center operators and hyperscale clients
  • Complex Solution Selling: Lead solution-based sales cycles involving integrated BMS, EPMS, and SCADA platforms tailored for mission-critical environments including construction methodology
  • Sustainability Trends: Advise clients on energy efficiency, sustainability, and compliance initiatives leveraging advanced monitoring and analytics
  • Metrics & Performance: Develop and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities using BMS with DDC products, SCADA using PLC products, and EPMS solutions for data center projects while maintaining margin objectives.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and closing business with Data Center developers while leveraging and building relationships with general contractors and consulting engineers.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key decision-makers at all client types critical to our success.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and marketing teams to craft value-driven proposals and ensure successful project execution while managing risk.
  • Lead the support teams in building technical scopes of work, estimates, and proposals that clearly communicate the Albireo Energy’s value proposition.
  • Negotiating price and contract terms with contractors, consultants, and end users to secure profitable projects.
  • Regularly update CRM with sales activities, forecasts, and account developments.
