Requirements

Proven experience as a Healthcare Assistant, Medical Receptionist, or Medical Scribe
HIPAA Certified (mandatory)
Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
Experience with medical scribing, charting, and patient care support
Experience working in or supporting OBGYN practices (preferred)
Can speak and write well in English
Proficient with medical terminologies and healthcare practices
Can connect with a variety of people and build rapport
Good attention to detail, especially in written reports
Comfortable with virtual technologies and can quickly learn
Internet speed must be at least 10mbps download and at least 3mbps upload
Have reliable computer hardware and software
Have a webcam and headset

Responsibilities

Support healthcare practices remotely
Improve workflow, save time, and reduce the burden of documentation and administrative tasks
Support both front-office and back-office functions
Perform Patient Scheduling and Appointment Confirmations
Handle Medical Transcription and Virtual Scribing / Medical Charting
Manage Chart Management and Patient Records Management
Check Insurance Eligibility / Insurance Verifications
Process Referrals and provide Medical Billing Support
Coordinate Patient Care and Follow-ups
