  • Strong desire to understand the Belgian public sector structure, procurement processes, and key stakeholders
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and comfort with ambiguity
  • Collaborative mindset
  • Full working proficiency in Dutch (C2 and above) including in formal context
  • Advanced level in English
  • Based in (or willing to relocate to) Belgium
  • Full working proficiency in French (nice to have)
  • Prior experience with RfPs (nice to have)
  • Outstanding project management capabilities (nice to have)
  • Adaptability and resilience in navigating the complexities of public sector sales cycle (nice to have)
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM (nice to have)

Responsibilities

  • Owning the sales cycle from beginning to end
  • Identify strategic targets in the Public sector and prospect when needed
  • Prepare for and meet with prospects ahead of RfPs (calls for tenders)
  • Respond to relevant RfPs - there is an important written and project management part
  • Prepare for and participate in oral presentations
  • Post-win, oversee Alan's deployment in collaborations with Key Account Manager and ensure admins and members high satisfaction
  • Contribute to shaping the playbook through creative problem-solving and pioneering new approaches
  • Support the team in standardizing and industrializing our RfP response process to increase efficiency and win rates
  • Provide market insights and competitive intelligence to inform Alan's public sector strategy
  • Collaborate with Product and Ops teams to ensure Alan's offerings remain competitive and tailored to Public accounts
  • Share information, debriefs, and lessons learned with the Public Sector team to drive collective improvement
  • Contribute to building the appropriate set-up in Salesforce to track sales activity of public segment
