Requirements
- 5+ years of sales experience with direct people leadership responsibility
- Remote team leadership experience preferred
- Proven ability to recruit, hire, develop, and lead high-performing sales teams
- Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales targets, KPIs, and revenue goals
- Strong business acumen, including expertise in sales strategy, pricing, forecasting, margin management, and performance metrics
- Effective negotiator with the ability to influence outcomes and manage complex or emotionally charged situations constructively
- Experience developing and executing new sales strategies, channels, and territories in a fast-paced environment
- Highly analytical with the ability to distill data into actionable insights and informed decision-making
- Excellent cross-functional communicator who can translate complex ideas into clear, concise actions
- Proficient in CRM systems (HubSpot preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working autonomously while managing multiple priorities
- Demonstrates integrity, accountability, adaptability, and a willingness to coach, teach, and lead with courage
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel as needed to meet business and customer demands
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or like field (MBA a plus). Relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies and business plans that drive monthly, seasonal, and annual growth across channels, territories, and customers.
- Lead, recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing remote sales team, including performance coaching, talent development, and hiring decisions.
- Own regional sales performance, including forecasting accuracy, achieving or exceeding monthly revenue and margin targets, and meeting defined KPIs.
- Analyze sales data and reporting to generate actionable insights and communicate results, risks, and recommendations to sales leadership on a regular cadence.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by proactively identifying needs, solving problems, mitigating retention risk, and negotiating mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Ops, Marketing, Business Development, Customer Service, Finance, and Supply Chain to align strategies, processes, and execution.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer dynamics to inform strategy and continuous improvement.
- Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, collaboration, and alignment with company core values.
- Ensure effective communication, time management, and CRM discipline across the team to support efficient execution.
- Perform other duties as required to support business objectives.
