- Strong understanding of how content drives business outcomes across brand, demand generation, and customer lifecycle stages
- Deep knowledge of modern discovery ecosystems, including SEO, AI-driven search, and emerging answer engines
- Experience leading multi-format content strategies across written, social, video, and digital storytelling channels
- Strong editorial instincts with the ability to identify and shape compelling narratives
- Proven track record of building scalable content systems and processes rather than one-off campaigns
- Strong cross-functional leadership experience working with product marketing, demand generation, and brand teams
- Analytical mindset with the ability to connect content performance to measurable business outcomes
- Experience with tools such as CMS platforms (e.g., Contentful)
- Experience with analytics tools (e.g., GA4, Looker)
- Experience with workflow tools (e.g., Asana)
- Experience with AI content tools
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the end-to-end content marketing strategy across formats, channels, and audience segments, balancing brand awareness, authority, and demand generation
- Build, scale, and mentor a high-performing content team across editorial, social media, and emerging content formats such as video
- Design and manage a multi-format content ecosystem including editorial content, social storytelling, customer narratives, and thought leadership initiatives
- Establish a scalable content cadence that supports campaigns, product launches, and always-on storytelling across the full marketing funnel
- Ensure content performance drives measurable business impact across awareness, engagement, pipeline generation, and customer retention
- Optimize content strategy for modern discovery channels including SEO, AI-driven search, and zero-click environments
- Continuously test and evolve content formats, distribution strategies, and messaging based on audience behavior and performance data
- Partner closely with product marketing to align messaging and narrative development, and with demand generation to support pipeline growth
- Collaborate with brand and creative teams to ensure cohesive storytelling and high-quality content execution
- Define standards for content excellence and elevate storytelling quality across all touchpoints
