  • 7+ years of marketing experience in Japan with a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies for both B2C and B2B markets
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing and developing marketing teams
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing strategic partnerships and serving as a liaison between multiple organizations
  • Strong background in demand generation with measurable results in lead generation and pipeline growth through partnership initiatives
  • Extensive experience in event execution and management, including conferences, trade shows, webinars, and customer engagement events
  • Experience building and managing strategic partnerships and stakeholder relationships in the Japanese business environment
  • Proven ability to lead cross-organizational initiatives and align diverse teams toward shared objectives and outcomes
  • Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decision-making and optimize marketing performance across partnership channels
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence and align diverse teams across multiple organizations in a cross-cultural environment

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary strategic liaison between Udemy and Benesse teams, ensuring alignment on marketing strategy, objectives, and execution across Japan, Korea, and Vietnam
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team across B2C and B2B in Japan, Korea and Vietnam
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that leverage both Udemy and Benesse resources to drive growth across B2C and B2B segments
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns that effectively integrate Udemy and Benesse capabilities to reach target audiences
  • Design and implement demand generation programs that create qualified leads and accelerate pipeline growth through strategic partnership initiatives
  • Execute end-to-end event management including conferences, webinars, trade shows, and customer events
  • Facilitate regular communication and collaboration between Udemy and Benesse teams to ensure seamless execution and mutual success
  • Build and nurture additional strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, vendors, and regional partners to amplify marketing impact in the Japanese, Korean and Vietnam markets
  • Analyze campaign performance and partnership effectiveness to optimize strategies and demonstrate ROI on marketing investments across both organizations
  • Manage marketing budgets and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and impact across all initiatives
