  • 3+ years of experience in performance-driven video editing
  • Experience within DTC or eCommerce environments
  • Proven expertise creating ads for Meta (Facebook/Instagram)
  • Proven expertise creating ads for TikTok
  • Proven expertise creating ads for CTV platforms
  • Strong understanding of direct response advertising
  • Strong understanding of hook-based editing
  • Strong understanding of short-form retention strategies
  • Experience working with performance metrics such as CTR, CPA, hook rate
  • Ability to quickly generate multiple variations from a single piece of content
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Proficiency in After Effects (or equivalent tools)
  • Proficiency in CapCut or similar editing platforms
  • Basic motion graphics skills, including text animation, transitions, and overlays
  • Strong creative intuition combined with a data-driven mindset

Responsibilities

  • Edit and transform raw footage into 5–10+ high-performing ad variations with different hooks, angles, formats, and messaging
  • Create UGC-style ads, remixed content, and collages tailored for paid social platforms such as Meta and TikTok
  • Adapt and optimize video creatives specifically for CTV environments, ensuring format and pacing alignment
  • Implement and test hooks, CTAs, text overlays, and messaging variations to improve engagement and conversion
  • Optimize storytelling, pacing, and retention to align with performance marketing best practices
  • Collaborate closely with media buyers to iterate creatives based on campaign performance data
  • Continuously repurpose existing content into new variations for ongoing testing and scaling
