Requirements

  • Experience in a technical post-sales role (customer success, technical account management, or professional services)
  • Track record of driving adoption and measurable business outcomes across a portfolio of technical customers
  • Hands-on familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies
  • Ability to engage with platform engineers on architecture questions
  • Ability to discuss RBAC and Tenant Isolation patterns
  • Ability to adapt communication for executive business reviews with Heads of Technology and troubleshooting with platform engineers
  • Structured and proactive approach to work, utilizing success plans, adoption milestones, and renewal timelines
  • Commercial awareness of what drives renewal and expansion in a SaaS or platform business
  • Kubernetes certification (CKA or CKAD) or equivalent demonstrated technical depth in cloud-native infrastructure (bonus)
  • Experience with AI/ML infrastructure, GPU compute environments, or customers building internal developer platforms at scale (bonus)
  • Background working with regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, or public sector) (bonus)
  • Contributions to the Kubernetes or open-source ecosystem (bonus)
  • Experience at a Series B-D startup with autonomy and building a repeatable post-sales motion (bonus)

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end customer onboardings from sales handoff to project close
  • Coordinate architecture workshops, platform installation, access setup, integration configuration, and operational readiness reviews
  • Build and maintain customer success plans documenting business objectives, KPIs, adoption milestones, and a forward plan
  • Translate platform adoption into business outcomes such as cost efficiency, engineering velocity, risk reduction, and platform ROI
  • Own the customer relationship cadence including regular check-ins, Quarterly Business Reviews, and Executive Business Reviews
  • Hold credible technical conversations with platform engineers, DevOps leads, and architects regarding vCluster architecture, Tenant Cluster deployment patterns, RBAC, Tenant Isolation, integrations, and Day 2 operations
  • Assist customers with technical challenges and design optimal deployment architectures
  • Own the renewal motion for accounts, starting 90+ days out
  • Recognize expansion triggers and work with Account Executive and Solutions Engineer to convert them into growth
  • Serve as the internal voice of customers, representing feature requests, escalating blockers, and providing actionable feedback to Product and Engineering
