10+ years experience building server-side applications
Detailed knowledge of Java
Sound knowledge of a backend framework (e.g. Spring/Spring Boot)
Experience with running microservices
Experience implementing and consuming RESTful APIs
Experience engineering scalable and reliable solutions in a cloud-native environment
Mindset of delivering secure, well-tested and well-documented software
Full ownership of code and technical solutions across their entire lifecycle
Experience integrating with various third-party providers and partners
Sound knowledge and experience working with relational databases
Work effectively in an agile environment
Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
Apply continuous integration, delivery, and deployment practices
Technical hands-on leader
Experience leading teams
Experience directly managing people

Lead the engineering delivery of the subscriptions platform across multiple markets.
Own the technical direction and execution of systems for subscription creation, pricing, and lifecycle management.
Focus on building scalable, resilient, and extensible platform capabilities.
Manage and develop a team of engineers.
Set clear technical standards and foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
Partner with Product and stakeholders to translate strategy into reliable platform solutions.
Ensure high-quality delivery across the full subscription lifecycle.
Work closely with Billing, Payments, Marketing, Data, and Finance teams to deliver a robust and transparent subscriptions platform.
