Requirements
- Previous experience working with patients or in a medical practice setting
- Demonstrated proficiency in handling patient interactions over the phone
- Manage patient communications through the portal, addressing medication-related concerns
- Perform basic triage to assess patient needs and escalate when necessary
- Support safe and efficient patient care with knowledge of GLP1s and peptides
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes preferred
- Proficiency with computer systems and electronic medical records (EMR) software
- Primary internet connection with a minimum speed of 15 Mbps
- Backup internet connection with at least 10 Mbps, capable of supporting work during a power outage
- Desktop or laptop equipped with Intel Core i5 (8th generation or newer), Intel Core i3 (10th generation or newer), AMD Ryzen 5, or equivalent processor
- A minimum of 8 GB RAM
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families
- Handle patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
- Coordinate appointments, referrals, and follow-up care as needed
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and other staff members
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, billing, and insurance verification
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
