Requirements

  • Experience writing and scripting non-linear narratives
  • Proven ability to design and implement narrative systems across production
  • Understanding of VO pipelines, localization, and narrative integration in-engine
  • Strong storytelling sensibilities and awareness of industry trends
  • Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills
  • Experience with AAA development (asset)
  • Experience with Unreal Engine (plus)
  • Experience with VO Design (plus)
  • Creative, collaborative mindset with openness to feedback
  • Bilingual (English-French)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with writers, designers and artists to create consistent, engaging narrative content aligned with the project's vision
  • Design, implement and debug narrative systems and content directly in the game engine
  • Integrate dialogue lines, prepare scripts for localization and VO direction, and support casting sheets
  • Support the audio team to ensure seamless VO propagation across all game systems
  • Act as a bridge between narrative and other departments to ensure seamless integration into gameplay
  • Write non-linear dialogue for quests and game content
  • Document, communicate and iterate on narrative systems and designs based on feedback
  • Oversee environmental storytelling in collaboration with level art and level design
