Requirements
- Experience writing and scripting non-linear narratives
- Proven ability to design and implement narrative systems across production
- Understanding of VO pipelines, localization, and narrative integration in-engine
- Strong storytelling sensibilities and awareness of industry trends
- Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills
- Experience with AAA development (asset)
- Experience with Unreal Engine (plus)
- Experience with VO Design (plus)
- Creative, collaborative mindset with openness to feedback
- Bilingual (English-French)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with writers, designers and artists to create consistent, engaging narrative content aligned with the project's vision
- Design, implement and debug narrative systems and content directly in the game engine
- Integrate dialogue lines, prepare scripts for localization and VO direction, and support casting sheets
- Support the audio team to ensure seamless VO propagation across all game systems
- Act as a bridge between narrative and other departments to ensure seamless integration into gameplay
- Write non-linear dialogue for quests and game content
- Document, communicate and iterate on narrative systems and designs based on feedback
- Oversee environmental storytelling in collaboration with level art and level design
