  • At least 2 years specifically focused on healthcare recruitment
  • Prior experience staffing for government contracts or within the SLED space
  • Ability to manage multiple candidate requisitions simultaneously
  • Correctional, behavioral health or school settings experience highly preferred
  • Experience working on an offshore model
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Proficiency with job boards
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace
  • Proactive problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, and metric-driven environment

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for qualified healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with client-facing teammates to ensure placements meet government compliance, credentialing, and security standards.
  • Develop and implement proactive recruitment strategies to attract top-tier healthcare professionals (nurses, allied professionals, therapists, etc.) for state and local government contracts.
  • Deliver against key metrics such as time-to-fill and submission coverage.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods, job boards, social media, professional networks, and internal database to build a robust candidate pipeline.
  • Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates to assess their qualification and experience for state and local contract roles.
  • Provide guidance and support throughout the entire recruitment and onboarding process, including assisting with coordinating interviews and collecting feedback.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed candidate records using ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems).
  • Provide regular updates and reporting on recruitment progress and metrics.
  • Negotiate competitive salary and benefits packages, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements for both the candidate and the organization, while adhering to contract terms.
  • Collaborate with internal managers and government client representatives to understand specific staffing needs, job requirements, and an awareness of the unique environment and protocols.
  • Collaborate closely with internal credentialing and compliance teams to ensure that regulations and client-specific requirements are met in a timely manner.
  • Stay informed of healthcare industry trends, labor market conditions, and regulatory changes within the government healthcare sector.
