Requirements

  • Associate's degree in a related field OR equivalent (State Agency Liaison)
  • 2 years of demonstrated experience in state agencies (State Agency Liaison)
  • Experience in purchasing/procurement, contract management, state agency operations, or public administration (State Agency Liaison)
  • Experience in sales, business development, or strategic account management focused on public sector clients (State Agency Liaison)
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field OR equivalent (Senior State Agency Liaison & Principal State Agency Liaison)
  • 4 years of demonstrated experience in state agencies (Senior State Agency Liaison)
  • 6 years of demonstrated experience in state agencies (Principal State Agency Liaison)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain relationships with agencies
  • Develop and implement an agency contact plan to communicate and engage with potential agencies
  • Act as first point of contact for client queries and complaints
  • Identify solutions that best meet agencies' goals and needs
  • Set clear objectives for each agency and deliver presentations
  • Assist with the development of communications and build strong external relationships
  • Identify potential accounts through referrals and participation at events
  • Enter client information into the CRM system
  • Identify instances of noncompliance with policies and procedures
  • Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development activities and training
