  • 6+ years designing digital products
  • 2+ years directly managing product designers with full accountability for hiring, performance management, and team development
  • Demonstrated ownership of a meaningful product area, with responsibility for both execution quality and measurable business outcomes
  • Experience building and strengthening design operations and team processes in a growing organization
  • Experience shipping high-quality native iOS and Android experiences in a mobile-first, consumer, or marketplace environment
  • A track record of developing designers while raising expectations for product thinking, not just craft execution
  • Proven ability to influence roadmap direction and proactively shape product strategy, not simply respond to defined requirements
  • Strong product intuition and comfort navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and evolving strategy
  • Experience using product and business metrics to evaluate impact, inform tradeoffs, and prioritize high-leverage opportunities
  • A systems mindset that connects design systems, operating models, and product innovation to long-term scalability
  • High standards for craft, accessibility, and cohesive mobile experiences
  • Curiosity and practical experience leveraging AI-enabled workflows to increase clarity and speed
  • Strong judgment in balancing foundational improvements with forward-looking innovation

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of product designers across Consumer and Creator experiences, setting clear expectations and providing thoughtful, actionable feedback.
  • Translate company and product strategy into focused priorities, measurable outcomes, and aligned execution in a fast-moving environment.
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Data to define problems, establish success metrics, and make principled tradeoffs that balance speed, quality, and business impact.
  • Connect design decisions to measurable outcomes such as activation, engagement, retention, GMV, and creator growth.
  • Raise the craft bar across interaction, visual, and content quality in our native apps, championing accessibility and mobile-first best practices.
  • Strengthen and evolve our design system to support cohesive, system-first experiences as we scale.
  • Build clear team operations—capacity planning, prioritization, and decision clarity—so designers can focus on high-impact work.
  • Identify opportunities to improve how design collaborates and operates as the organization grows.
  • Leverage AI-enabled workflows to increase speed and clarity while maintaining strong judgment.
