Requirements
- 5+ years in game development or real-time production managing outsourced art production at scale
- Expert knowledge utilizing Unreal Engine Editor
- Professional experience utilizing Maya, Zbrush, Adobe Photoshop, and Substance Painter/Designer
- Proven experience leading complex asset initiatives independently with strong ownership and a high quality bar
- A track record of building or improving structured, scalable asset pipelines and asset standards
- Experience developing automation or AI-enhanced production tools
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Passion for architecture and interior design with a deep understanding of real-world materials, manufacturing logic, and construction details
Responsibilities
- Lead outsourced prop production, including vendor selection, briefing, quality control, and continuous improvement of workflows
- Translate large manufacturer product catalogs into efficient, standardized, high-quality 3D prop libraries
- Define and enforce asset standards for modeling, UVs, materials, naming conventions, LODs, and optimization
- Create and refine photo-realistic 3D props and materials that meet both artistic and technical requirements
- Build scalable pipelines for asset ingestion, review, iteration, and deployment into a custom web based platform and the Unreal Engine
- Partner with internal visualization, engineering, and product teams to ensure assets integrate cleanly into production environments
- Identify automation opportunities and leverage AI-assisted workflows to improve velocity without sacrificing quality
