Requirements
- 8+ years of B2B marketing experience with ownership of SEO strategy and execution
- Proven success building SEO programs that drive measurable business outcomes, including inbound leads and pipeline growth
- Strong understanding of developer audiences and how they research, evaluate, and adopt technical tools and platforms
- Familiarity with GEO, LLMO, or answer engine optimization concepts, or a strong SEO foundation with a clear perspective on AI-driven search evolution
- Experience managing cross-functional initiatives involving agencies, freelancers, and internal stakeholders
- Proficiency with analytics and SEO tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Mixpanel, and CMS platforms
- Strong writing and editing skills for technical audiences
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and prioritization skills
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) strategy to improve discoverability, traffic quality, and inbound pipeline across search and AI answer platforms
- Build and maintain a comprehensive organic growth roadmap covering content strategy, on-page optimization, site architecture, link building, and AI search visibility
- Manage end-to-end content and optimization workflows, from opportunity identification and briefing to publication, iteration, and performance tracking
- Partner with product marketing, content, web, and communications teams to align organic strategy with business priorities and developer-focused messaging
- Analyze visibility in AI-generated and LLM-based results, developing strategies to improve accuracy, authority, and presence in emerging discovery environments
- Establish and evolve GEO/LLMO benchmarks and performance measurement frameworks as the discipline matures
- Use analytics tools (GA4, Search Console, Tag Manager, Mixpanel, Salesforce) to evaluate performance, uncover insights, and guide optimization decisions
- Monitor algorithm changes, competitive dynamics, and AI search trends to continuously evolve strategy and maintain differentiation
