Requirements
- 6+ years of extensive experience in customer-facing teams
- Solid understanding of data integration and replication
- Experience working with a wide range of databases (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, IBM Db2, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SAP HANA)
- Experience with data warehouses/lakehouses (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift)
- Experience with operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix)
- Strong proficiency in SQL and command-line scripting
- Advanced understanding of networking approaches (SSH tunneling, VPNs, PrivateLink / private connectivity - AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Profound ability to analyze and resolve customer challenges, offering database, data warehouse, and networking optimizations
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and customer-focused attitude
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize work
- Familiarity with scripting and automation languages such as Python
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments (Docker, Podman), including deployment, orchestration, and troubleshooting
Responsibilities
- Lead the installation and setup of Fivetran products for customers
- Prepare environments for replication, including SQL scripting or command-line operations
- Configure high-volume database connectors using UIs, command-line tools, and/or APIs
- Work in containerized environments, including Kubernetes, with hands-on involvement in deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Work closely with customer teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues during implementation
- Assist with data validation to ensure accurate data replication
- Analyze and optimize performance to meet customer expectations
- Offer database and environment tuning to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness
- Empower customer teams to take full ownership of Fivetran implementations by providing hands-on training, detailed documentation, and ongoing support
