Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, consulting, or solutions architecture roles focused on enterprise databases and cloud technologies
- Strong expertise in Oracle technologies such as RAC, ASM, Data Guard, GoldenGate, Exadata, and pluggable databases
- Experience designing and managing cloud-based database architectures across platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI
- Working knowledge of additional database systems such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, or similar technologies
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, Go, or JavaScript
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges and design scalable, high-performance solutions
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical teams and executive stakeholders
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and product teams
- Self-driven and comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomy
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client engagements and technical workshops
Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert on database solutions, with a strong focus on Oracle environments across on-premise and cloud infrastructures
- Partner with sales teams to support pre-sales activities, aligning technical solutions with customer business objectives
- Lead product demonstrations, workshops, and technical presentations for both technical stakeholders and executive audiences
- Design and execute proof-of-concepts (POCs), ensuring successful validation of solutions in customer environments
- Translate complex customer requirements into scalable and secure technical architectures
- Contribute to proposals, RFPs, and technical documentation with high-quality, customer-focused content
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to provide feedback and influence product enhancements
- Stay up to date with industry trends in database technologies, cloud platforms, and data security to effectively position solutions
- Provide insights on competitive positioning and market trends based on customer interactions
- Support customers across North America, working in alignment with US Eastern Time Zone requirements
