Requirements

  • 8+ years of extensive experience in customer-facing teams
  • Solid understanding of the data integration and replication space
  • Proven ability to explain complex technical concepts to customers clearly
  • Experience with a wide range of databases, data warehouses / lakehouses, and operating systems
  • Strong proficiency in SQL
  • Strong proficiency in command-line scripting
  • Advanced understanding of networking approaches, including SSH tunneling, VPNs, and PrivateLink / private connectivity (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Profound ability to analyze and resolve customer challenges, offering optimizations
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and customer-focused attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize work
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation languages such as Python
  • Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Podman), including deployment, orchestration, and troubleshooting

Responsibilities

  • Lead the installation and setup of Fivetran products for customers, ensuring environments are fully prepared for replication.
  • Prepare environments for replication, including SQL scripting or command-line operations for transaction logging, archiving/backup, and table analysis/preparation.
  • Configure high-volume database connectors using UIs, command-line tools, and/or APIs.
  • Work in containerized environments, including Kubernetes, with hands-on involvement in deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Work closely with customer teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues during the implementation phase.
  • Assist with data validation to ensure accurate data replication.
  • Analyze and optimize performance to meet customer expectations.
  • Offer database and environment tuning to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Empower customer teams by providing hands-on training, detailed documentation, and ongoing support to manage their data pipelines.
  • Liaise with customer stakeholders and internal teams including Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, Sales Engineers, Customer Support Engineers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers.
