- Experience with budget governance and cost monitoring
- Experience building or maintaining production software systems
- Automation and scripting (Python preferred)
- Experience leading cloud migrations or modernization programs
- Experience defining cloud governance frameworks
- Experience delivering multi-phase transformation initiatives
- Experience engaging directly with C-level stakeholders and engineering leaders
- Ability to translate technical complexity into business value
- Strong discovery and problem-framing skills
- Experience shaping solutions and guiding technical decision-making
- Strategic thinking around architecture, scalability, and long-term platform evolution
Responsibilities
- Work directly with client stakeholders to understand business and technical objectives
- Design cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Translate complex technical challenges into clear solution roadmaps
- Identify opportunities to improve scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency
- Lead cloud cost optimization initiatives across enterprise environments
- Analyze usage patterns, architecture design, and infrastructure configuration to reduce waste
- Implement governance and automation frameworks to ensure ongoing cost efficiency
- Serve as the technical authority for cloud architecture engagements
- Guide engineering teams on architecture patterns, infrastructure design, and delivery practices
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with best practices
- Lead complex cloud modernization initiatives including migrations and platform redesign
- Establish governance frameworks that measure progress, risk, and outcomes
- Drive long-term technical transformation strategies with clients
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Partner with senior stakeholders including engineering leaders and executives
- Identify new opportunities to expand impact and value for clients
- Mentor engineers and junior architects
- Share knowledge and establish internal best practices across engagements
