Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in corporate development, M&A, investment banking, private equity, or venture capital
- Proven track record of sourcing, structuring, and closing acquisitions or strategic transactions
- Strong financial modeling skills, including valuation analysis, three-statement modeling, and synergy assessment
- Deep understanding of deal execution processes, including diligence, negotiation, and integration planning
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate business goals into actionable transaction strategies
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with experience presenting to executives and external stakeholders
- Established network within private equity, venture capital, or corporate development ecosystems preferred
- Experience working in fast-paced, remote-first or distributed teams is highly valued
Responsibilities
- Own the corporate development strategy and execution of strategic transactions, driving growth through acquisitions, partnerships, and market expansion initiatives
- Develop and lead the corporate development strategy in partnership with executive leadership, aligning deals with long-term growth objectives
- Source, evaluate, and prioritize acquisition and partnership opportunities across key verticals, building a strong and active deal pipeline
- Lead end-to-end M&A execution, including valuation, due diligence, negotiation, and closing activities
- Build financial models and investment cases to assess ROI, synergies, and strategic fit of potential transactions
- Oversee post-merger integration planning and execution, ensuring value realization and alignment with strategic objectives
- Conduct ongoing market, competitive, and industry analysis to identify whitespace opportunities and adjacency plays
- Develop and maintain senior-level relationships across investment banks, private equity firms, venture capital, and industry stakeholders
