Requirements
- 3+ years running marketing campaigns across multiple channels (content, email, social, paid)
- Can write, edit, and quality-check content to a high standard
- Managed freelancers or agencies and know how to write a clear brief, set expectations, and review work critically
- Comfortable with marketing analytics: dashboards, A/B tests, performance reporting, interpreting data
- Use AI tools in your workflow and want to push further
- Hands-on experience with WordPress/CMS
- Hands-on experience with email platforms (ActiveCampaign, Mailchimp, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with design tools (Canva or similar)
- Can schedule occasional interviews with US-based academic researchers (typically 1-2 per week, requiring some US timezone overlap)
- Strong executor who wants to develop strategic skills
- Excited about building a marketing function
- Want to work closely with a CEO and learn how marketing strategy connects to business decisions
- Comfortable managing scope, prioritising, and pushing back when something isn't the right priority
- Care about the quality of output, not just the volume; attention to detail matters
Responsibilities
- Run B2B marketing for Trialfacts
- Manage content, email, case studies, freelancers, and analytics
- Work with the CEO to build the marketing function across two segments and all channels
- Conduct case study interviews with US and Australian academic researchers
- Manage the outreach pipeline (scoring, scheduling, follow-ups)
- Write outreach emails to secure researcher participation for case studies
- Turn raw proof into published case studies and content that drive business results
- Run content marketing, email campaigns, newsletters, social media, lead magnets
- Collaborate with the sales team on outbound initiatives
- Manage freelancers and agency partners across content, design, and paid advertising (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads)
- Work closely with the in-house tech and analytics team to build, track, and measure performance
- Track performance, interpret data, and report clearly on what's working and what isn't
- Improve workflows, build documentation, and set up systems for scalable marketing execution
- Use AI tools for content production, design, analysis, and automation
- Lead the weekly marketing meeting, set clear measurables, and hold people accountable
