Requirements

  • Proven experience owning lifecycle or CRM programs at a B2B SaaS company
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation tools
  • Customer.io experience is a strong plus
  • Data-driven: know how to connect lifecycle programs to product usage, retention, and revenue outcomes
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator
  • Ability to work with Sales, Product, and Engineering without losing momentum
  • Write clearly
  • Think in systems
  • Ship things
  • Experience with PLG (product-led growth), open source, or freemium sales motions (nice-to-have)
  • Familiarity with workflow automation or developer tooling (nice-to-have)

Responsibilities

  • Own lifecycle strategy across onboarding, activation, retention, and expansion.
  • Define the stages, identify key moments, and set success metrics for lifecycle programs.
  • Build programs to achieve defined success metrics.
  • Design programs grounded in real usage data, behavioral signals, and customer patterns.
  • Support expansion by building contextual lifecycle messaging that works alongside Sales and Customer Success.
  • Run structured tests across messaging, sequencing, timing, and segmentation.
  • Use learnings from experiments to improve continuously.
