Requirements
- Proven experience owning lifecycle or CRM programs at a B2B SaaS company
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation tools
- Customer.io experience is a strong plus
- Data-driven: know how to connect lifecycle programs to product usage, retention, and revenue outcomes
- Strong cross-functional collaborator
- Ability to work with Sales, Product, and Engineering without losing momentum
- Write clearly
- Think in systems
- Ship things
- Experience with PLG (product-led growth), open source, or freemium sales motions (nice-to-have)
- Familiarity with workflow automation or developer tooling (nice-to-have)
Responsibilities
- Own lifecycle strategy across onboarding, activation, retention, and expansion.
- Define the stages, identify key moments, and set success metrics for lifecycle programs.
- Build programs to achieve defined success metrics.
- Design programs grounded in real usage data, behavioral signals, and customer patterns.
- Support expansion by building contextual lifecycle messaging that works alongside Sales and Customer Success.
- Run structured tests across messaging, sequencing, timing, and segmentation.
- Use learnings from experiments to improve continuously.
