Requirements
- College degree
- 1-3 years of AML/Sanctions/Testing experience (Level 1)
- Entry-level experience working with third-party automated screening tools
- Strong familiarity with Google Suite and Microsoft Suite products
- Hardworking and driven
- Strong time management skills and ability to execute tasks within tight deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with colleagues across regions and business units
- Experience and comfort working in an ever-changing industry and the flexibility to quickly react to changing demands
- Excellent time management and organizational skill
Responsibilities
- Assist the efforts of the Global Sanctions Compliance program
- Partner with the broader zerohash Compliance team to drive the execution of key priorities
- Responsible for first level review, analysis and adjudication of alerts
- Support Level 2 analysts with special projects
- Conduct sanctions investigations and assessing fraudulent activity
- Daily adherence to and compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, regulations and guidance
- Maintain an understanding of global sanctions regulations
- Complete initial alert adjudication and investigations resulting from watchlist alerts
- Escalate as needed to the Level 2 Senior Global Sanctions Compliance Analyst(s)
- Identify and escalate any issues that impact the quality of the alerts generated
- Ensure appropriate action is taken on accounts associated with a true match to a sanctioned individual, entity and/or group
- Collaborate with appropriate teams to develop effective strategies to assist with testing
- Assist in automating compliance department functionality and make recommendations for efficiency
- Support the creation of training materials and operating procedures
- Work and contribute to a team-oriented and collaborative environment
