Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or a similar analytical role
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and organizational skills
- Ability to translate complex inputs into clear insights and recommendations
- Curiosity and excitement for AI and emerging technologies
- Experience applying AI tools or supporting AI-enabled process improvements in previous roles
- Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
- Ability to work effectively across financial models, reporting, and presentations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to build relationships and influence cross-functional stakeholders
- A self-starter who operates effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and take ownership of outcomes
Responsibilities
- Serve as the dedicated FP&A partner for HubSpot’s Business Technology and Security teams, owning financial planning and management across operating expenses and headcount
- Lead core financial planning rhythms, including annual planning, monthly forecasts, and ongoing budget management
- Partner with business leaders to evaluate investments, tradeoffs, and resource allocation decisions, providing clear financial guidance and decision support
- Analyze operating expense and headcount performance, delivering variance analysis, insights, and recommendations to improve visibility and forecast accuracy
- Build and maintain financial models to support planning, scenario analysis, and strategic decision-making
- Support headcount planning and investment tracking to ensure alignment with business priorities and financial targets
- Partner with Business Technology and Security teams to support financial planning and cost management of internal and enterprise AI tooling, helping evaluate usage, scalability, and return on investment
- Prepare materials for management reviews, clearly communicating risks, opportunities, and actionable recommendations
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, and automation to help the business and finance organization scale effectively
